Machineering 2021. It is finally going to happen!
16/08/2021

Production technology live & showcased at MACHINEERING
from 8 to 10 September 2021 – Brussels Expo

Press release – Brussels, 16 August 2021

It is finally going to happen! After more than a year and a half of treading water in the world of Western European trade shows, with customers and suppliers literally hungry for more, MACHINEERING will finally be the first physical trade show dedicated to manufacturing technologies to open its doors from 8 to 10 September 2021 at Brussels Expo. MACHINEERING offers professionals from the metal and plastics processing, mechanical engineering and industrial supply sectors a pleasant and educational platform, with live and showcased production technologies, real social interaction and the opportunity to network in a safe environment.

MACHINEERING will be held at an ideal time in early September!
MACHINEERING will cover the entire value chain, from design to production, making a visit to the show very interesting for both managers and department heads specialising in various operational processes. And in today's context, September seems to be the ideal time to finally meet all the players in the sector in the flesh. Production and sales of components and solutions for manufacturing technologies in the Benelux have almost returned to their pre-coronavirus level. The time that was lost during the crisis has been made up for very quickly in recent months, and the investment climate for next autumn is looking good. In addition, due to the problems with the supply of components, the manufacturing industry has to focus more than ever on on-demand production, flexible small batches, very short time-to-market for new products and the principles of mass customisation. Digital ordering and production processes and advanced automation are solutions that allow for faster and more efficient production, even for small batches. The unique and dynamic atmosphere of a trade fair like MACHINEERING is certainly conducive to fruitful conversations, innovative manufacturing ideas and exchanges with industry colleagues. In no time at all, you will be fully informed about the latest developments in production technology.

> 100 technology, tool and machine suppliers across 10 technology routes
MACHINEERING is the perfect showcase for smart, automated and connected manufacturing. This event will give you the opportunity to meet personally with 100 machine suppliers, subcontractors and service providers specialising in the manufacture, design, processing, bonding and assembly of metal, plastic and composite components. Machining, bending, cutting, welding, coating, 3D printing, prototyping, design, tools, machine maintenance, optimised software, cloud and IoT integrations... all of the solutions presented at the trade fair will be distributed along 10 technology routes that you can follow according to your profile and interests.

12 expert classes & Flam3D Additive manufacturing zone
The programme will also include 12 hands-on expert classes. These very informative 30-minute presentations will provide you with the inspiration you need to produce tailored, cheaper, more sustainable and more competitive products faster in the future. Innovative industry colleagues such as Verhaert Masters in Innovation, Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials and Aluro will talk about the transformation of their business model. And experts from Agoria, Flanders Make, Flam3D, Sirris and Bemas will share their knowledge on advanced production and design techniques, materials, additive manufacturing, smart maintenance, Industry 4.0, etc. These classes are free to attend; just reserve a place when registering for the trade fair.

In the Flam3D Additive Manufacturing zone, you will also find all the information you need about the current 3D printing technology. Specialised companies and competence centres will be there to answer any questions you may have about the feasibility and affordability of the technology within your specific production environment.

On Thursday evening, there will also be a very pleasant nocturne, where visitors will be able to network until 10 p.m.

Hybrid event: an interactive online platform will complete the 'on-site' event
The physical MACHINEERING event will be enhanced with the addition of a digital platform. This 'digital twin' of MACHINEERING will allow everyone to take advantage of live streaming of activities on site and online, before, during and after the event, as well as appointment scheduling modules (for meetings on the stands or online) and powerful AI-based search engines that take your specific interests into account.

Would you like to visit Machineering? Just register!
In order to visit the trade fair and take part in the expert classes, all you need to do is preregister via www.machineering.eu, just like before. A health pass or Covid Safe Ticket is not required for a trade fair in Belgium since trade fairs are governed by the trade protocol. A visit to a trade fair is therefore considered the same as a visit to a shop! The recent relaxation of restrictions also means that the number of visitors is no longer limited and that there is no longer any need for specific time slots when registering visitors. Our organisation will of course keep registered visitors informed of any changes to the health measures in place at all times.
